Australia’s government is responsible for developing laws and policies that help people who want to enter Australia for travel or migration. People from all over the world came to Australia for different reasons and in different way.
The national archives holds information’s and records about all individuals who have arrived from overseas during the 19s and 21c. It also holds information about Australians who left and returned to Australia. The records of displaced persons are listed on UNESCO’S Australian memory of the world register.
